Like many others, I was a bit doubtful about the low price compared to other shops - the kit I received was an Olympus E-M5 Mark III paired with the Pro 12-45 f4 lens. If I had bought it directly from Olympus, it would have cost me 1500, but here it was just 870. The glowing reviews convinced me, and now that the camera is here, all my concerns have vanished. The camera and lens are top-notch, just as I expected, in their original unopened packaging, and I even managed to register them online for the warranty! I just made my first buy from Grandy's Cameras, and let me tell ya, it was for a pretty pricey special-order lens. I was a bit anxious about its availability, but turns out, I had no reason to fret.

They told me the lens would arrive in a couple of days, and sure enough, it did. It was shipped out fast, and I could track it all the way through Canada, the US, and the UK.

The web chat was super friendly and quick, I placed my order on Friday, it was sent out on Sunday, tracked via FedEx, and arrived Wednesday morning. The camera is exactly what I wanted. It’s the Australian version, but they included a U.K. cable/plug in the box, so I’m all good.

To start off, this is an importer, but there's no question that Grandy's is on the up and up, and the price you see is what you actually pay. No sneaky import or VAT charges later on.

Plus, you can't complain about how quick the delivery is. They use FedEx, and you can generally count on getting your order within five business days, even if it's coming from Hong Kong.

Now, keep in mind that these cameras and lenses don’t come with a Manufacturer Warranty since they’re 'grey' imports. Manufacturers like to keep a tight grip on where their products go (like Asia, Europe, USA, etc.) to manage the crazy price differences we all face, so they won’t honor their warranty if you try to claim it outside the intended region.

Importers like Grandy's are aware of this and tackle the challenge by providing their own 'return to base' (or RTB) warranty.
